Design and illustration tell a story. That's why I love doing what I do. These stories not only create a lasting impact; they make our world a better and more beautiful place.
Born and raised on a fruit farm in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I brought my work to the rugged beauty of Fairbanks, Alaska in January 2018. There I met two like-minded creatives, and together we joined forces to build a much-needed agency for the community: Fairbanks Brand Studio. In the summer of 2021, I took this experience back home with me, where I design remotely across Michigan and out of state.
While look back fondly on my time in Alaska, my love for design, people, and curiosity continues to thrive here. I enjoy picking the apples behind our house, a good Petosky stone hunt, and a rustic weekend up north with my partner, Mark, and our chocolate lab, Scout.
I am thankful for all of the experiences that have made me who I am. I think meaningful design is inspired by a bit of adventure—For me, it begins with fresh air, good company, and a pinch of whimsy.
